Is it okay for the world Sarkodie to reply Shatawale?

Award-winning rapper Sarkodie claims that after the release of his song with Bob Marley, he has gotten an outpouring of love and support from everyone in the industry.

Shatta Wale, a colleague in the industry, stated in a manner that some have described as sarcastic that Sarkodie should be praised for having a ghost appear on the song “Stir It Up.”

During an interview on Luv FM’s Drive Time, not only did Shatta mock the project, but he also downplayed the significance of Sarkodie being featured on a Bob Marley classic.

don’t think it should be a problem. As we hear, Sarkodie has featured Bob Marley, it’s so beautiful, at least we have someone who has featured a ghost, we should praise him.

Sarkodie, however, asserts that he thinks everyone in the entertainment industry is pleased about the achievement in response to a query posed by a fan on Twitter Spaces.

Unless I’m proven incorrect, he continued, “I haven’t really watched social media too much, but I assume everybody is happy for what has happened.”

Sarkodie has disclosed that he almost declined the chance to contribute to the timeless Bob Marley song.

On Friday, January 20, 2023, the song was made available on all streaming media sites.

The Ghanaian artist stated during a discussion on the +44 Podcast that he didn’t feel deserving of having his vocals on the same tune as the iconic Reggae great.

“When I received the email, I nearly forwarded it because, in addition to having respect for the legend, I felt unworthy of sharing the stage with him. I was pretty severe on myself,” he admitted to podcast host Sideman.

Fun appreciating Sarkodie
